Uh, I'm sorry, but "blond whore"? That took me right out of the fic.
The rest of it I think is powerful, very raw and emotional. I do *LOVE* it. But there are a few moments such as the one above, as well as a few that are condescending, that just make it reek of unfortunate implications.
I also find it a tad hard to believe Sam and Castiel went this long without figuring out Dean wasn't in heaven -- especially with Cas meeting Michael, Anna, etc -- that kind of takes away from the dramatic end of part one. As well as not physically checking in on Bobby when he was only living at one point in CCoDW because Dean guilted him into it.
I've heard some amazing things about this big bang, so I'll definitely give this another shot in the future. Just... not when I'm sort of in a "wait, what?" moment.
